California Supreme Court upholds Proposition 8

California’s High Court upholds Propo­si­tion 8, but says that the approx­i­mately 18,000 same-sex mar­riages that took place pri­ort to Propo­si­tion 8 remain valid. A rally orga­nized by Mar­riage Equal­ity is sched­uled at the south­west cor­ner of 7th Avenue and Camel­back today at 6 pm.

White House says ‘don’t ask’ policy under review
