Phoenix Area Gay Friendly Community Centers

One of the most impor­tant things we can do as a com­mu­nity is sup­port the non-profits for our com­mu­nity. Below is a list of the One Com­mu­nity non-profit part­ners and infor­ma­tion about all they do.

Equal­ity Ari­zona — The mis­sion of Equal­ity Ari­zona is to secure, pro­tect and defend the rights and wel­fare of les­bian, gay, bisex­ual and trans­gen­der (LGBT) peo­ple in Ari­zona.  For more infor­ma­tion about Equal­ity Ari­zona click here.

GPGLCC —  The Greater Phoenix Gay and Les­bian Cham­ber of Com­merce is a non­profit orga­ni­za­tion estab­lished to pro­mote and sup­port the GLBT busi­ness and pro­fes­sional com­mu­nity. The asso­ci­a­tion does this by work­ing toward the fol­low­ing objectives:

• Pro­mote the asso­ci­a­tion to all seg­ments of the com­mu­nity at large.
• Sup­port cur­rent or future busi­ness or related issues on which the asso­ci­a­tion wishes to pro­mote a position.
• Pro­vide a forum for mem­bers to enhance their busi­ness organization.
• Pro­vide a sup­port sys­tem for all mem­bers to meet pro­fes­sion­ally and socially.

Aunt Rita’s Foun­da­tion — Aunt Rita’s Foun­da­tion is a vol­un­teer dri­ven 501c3 non-profit char­ity whose sin­gu­lar focus is to raise money for and dis­trib­ute equally to, Cen­tral Ari­zona agen­cies that either have pro­grams to pre­vent HIV/AIDS or assist those liv­ing with HIV/AIDS.  We are an inclu­sive char­ity striv­ing to include all seg­ments of the com­mu­nity.  For more infor­ma­tion about Aunt Rita’s click here or call: 480–290-7222

Phoenix Pride Schol­ar­ship Pro­gram — Phoenix Pride Schol­ar­ship Pro­gram in part­ner­ship with the Ari­zona Com­mu­nity Foun­da­tion, is proud to offer The PRIDE Com­mu­nity Schol­ar­ship Fund.

The PRIDE Com­mu­nity Schol­ar­ship Fund is an endow­ment fund estab­lished to award edu­ca­tional schol­ar­ships to Ari­zona stu­dents who iden­tify as Les­bian, Gay, Bisex­ual or Trans­gen­dered and plan to attend post-secondary edu­ca­tional insti­tu­tions within Mari­copa County, Arizona.
