GLENDALE GLITTER & GLOW BLOCK PARTY ROUNDS OUT THE HOLIDAY SEASON JANUARY 14

GLENDALE, Ariz. – Glow, baby, glow! Glendale Glitters holiday light display concludes with a rockin’ block party, Glendale Glitter and Glow, on Jan. 14, from 4-11 p.m. with fun for the whole family!

Take in the stunning 1.5 million lights along with more than 20 hot air balloons glowing brightly amidst the trees throughout 16 blocks of Historic Downtown Glendale.  The dazzling scene of vibrant glowing colors and twinkling lights will inspire awe among children and adults alike.

Thousands of people are expected to stroll along the closed downtown streets and watch tethered balloons gently expand as pilots fire them up, enjoying more than a dozen bands performing rock, blues, reggae, country and jazz music as well as vibrant street performers for a climactic finale to a festive season.

An extra hour of entertainment, the “After Glow” will feature top-notch Valley entertainment performing from 10-11 p.m. for those who just can’t bear to go home and say farewell to the season’s festive atmosphere and downtown Glendale’s million-plus lights!
